Units include: improvisation, script writing, lip sync performances, acting theory: Stanislavsky and Uta Hagen, scene work, theatre history (medieval, renaissance, Elizabethan), Shakespeare performances

- Intermediate level students are required to put in a minimum of 5 rehearsal or tech hours as part of their grade.
- Students are required to see one show per quarter and complete a play analysis on that performance.
- The spring musical (March) or theatre ensemble play (May) cover the play requirement for those not involved in show week.
